Ezlink Card in Singapore

This is the Ezlink card in Singapore. This is used as a topup card when travelling on bus or mrts. Loaded with extra $$ on it you can use it as payments on Singapore government's immigration center, Ministry of Manpower, and even on McDonalds and others.

Cool ha?

So my advice, DON'T EVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT
or it would be soooo troublesome on your part. Trust me.

What's more, I just found out it's more expensive to pay cash on mrts/ buses than using this card.

I will say it again, it's the EZLink card!

Ezlink Card (Singapore)

If you are here for just 3 days and below, just purchase the single trip tickets. Select your destination and pay your fares. The machine only accept $2 or $5 notes. You may approach the staff at the station control for change. At the end of your trip, insert the card back into the machine to retrieve your $1 deposit. The initial purchase of a store value card is $15. It has a $7 stored value, $3 refundable value. Do remeber that there is a $5 non-refundable value. To top up your value, approach the Ticket Sales Counter and pay by cash. Minimum Top Up Value is $10. you can also DIY at the machines located at all MRT Stations. You may use the ezlink card on both the buses or the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

Longest Detour!

This is the longest detour that I came across with.
Made my head swirl by walking thru this make-shift passageway due to ongoing constructions @Somerset MRT.
I estimated to be around on this for more than 20 minutes and thought it will never end.
